All festivities have been banned in the country, says Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
The Croatian government have proposed the ban as calls for a "freeze" on public sector salaries has also been proposed for the whole of ext year. If the country gives Xmas a miss this year, it will mean that the government can balance the budget for 2009 meaning also that Croatia just might look forward to celebrating Christmas 2009, if they forgo this one...

All parties and festivities have been banned for Christmas this year in the hope to keep public spending down, yet the PM has told his subjects not to panic.

hahaha... do jaja... ne kužim sam kak svi vide da radi nekaj krivo, samo on "ne vidi"...
Brzo, nadite crnca i idemo ga izabrati za premijera! To je rjesenje.
Pa ovo je stvarno prevršilo svaku mjeru, pa ispadamo siromašni ko crkveni miševi... pa ako će nas to držati podalje od EU - može! :-)
Ma taj gljIvo je đubre i to cijeli svijet vidi samo ONI nisu kada su glasovali. Sada neka uživaju - zajedno sa dijasporom, pederi.
